SMARTING Pro is a fully portable 32-channel EEG system developed by mBrainTrain. It is compatible with both PC and Android mobile applications and features an SD card for outdoor recording, Bluetooth 5.0, and 3D head-motion tracking. SMARTING Pro is available in three versions—Indoor, Outdoor, and Hyperscanning—to meet the diverse research needs of different customers.

Bluetooth 5.0 ensures a reliable wireless connection while preserving delicate signals with 24-bit resolution, less than 1 µV of input-referred noise, and greater than 140 dB of common-mode rejection. The SMARTING Pro features an integrated 9-axis inertial measurement unit for high-precision gyroscopic, accelerometer, and magnetometer data acquisition. Fusion of these measurements enables highly accurate head-motion tracking across all three axes.
Easily connect and configure presets using the hyperscan mode:
SMARTING PRO integrates NFC technology, allowing for quick connection and launch of the data-collection software simply by tapping your smartphone against the device. Presets can be created to minimize configuration errors in the laboratory. In addition, the ultra-scan mode provides fast and reliable setup for complex social research projects.
Automatic Artifact Removal Algorithm (ASR):
Leveraging its integrated, real-time artifact removal capability based on the Artifact Subspace Reconstruction (ASR) algorithm, along with support for outdoor recording modes in mobile applications, SMARTING PRO delivers an unparalleled outdoor recording experience. Users can choose to save either the raw data or the ASR-corrected data.
